Team Ice Wagon is a group of people who run for fun. And we when run for fun, we run pretty slow. We're like an ice wagon brigade rolling down the street passing only parked cars and the roman candy man. 

Everyone on Team Ice Wagon runs because we enjoy it, but none of us are particularly concerned with the fact that we will never win a race and probably never qualify for a seeded spot in a race. We're OK with this. We have made peace with this, and we have decided to embrace it. We know we are not going to finish first so why not have a little fun and enjoy the run? Are there bands on the course? Then you'll probably see us showing off our sweet dance moves at each stage. Did a friend of ours show-up with a sign on the course to support us? Shoot, we're going to stop and high five them, we'll probably take a photo, too. 

Our goal is to get up and move and have fun doing it. Serious running is great for serious runners and we still love our serious running friends even if they do pass us on the course. But, serious runners we are not, we are runners, jogger, walkers, and stroller pushers who love a good post race party. 

Come run with us, or walk if that is more your speed, and we can all wave at the Roman Candy man when we leave him in our dust. OK, it's more likely that we'll stop and grab a piece of roman candy and then wave as we trot away, but you get the point.
